I'm a tea fanatic, especially when it comes to jasmine loose leaf. I finally had the Numi flowering tea recently, at a little Japanese tea house in San Antonio with my parents. My mom and I practically chugged the pot of tea. Unfortunately, Numi is a little insane on their prices with their flowering teas, so I'm going to stick to my regular loose jasmine I get at the Asian market. Just as good, just doesn't look quite as pretty! Abc Wednesday Weekend Reflections
Very pretty; hope it tastes as good as it looks!

When I worked for the National Association of Speciality Food Trade I was able to meet some of the owners of Numi Tea and helped display their flowering jasmine tea. It was the first time I ever saw flowers in the tea and how it rehydrated.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found some. We enjoyed their samples very much.
That's really quite pretty - wouldn't want to drink it, though. ;)

ReplyDeleteOrdinary Words...Nice T entry♫♪
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have something so pretty that also tastes good.
ReplyDeleteThat's almost too pretty to drink! (But as a fellow tea freak, I probably would hesitate only long enough to snap some photos of my own!) :-) I have a clear glass teapot and have always wanted to try some flowering tea in it, but have been waiting for a special occasion and an audience larger than my husband, me, and our dogs. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm betting this tea smelled as wonderful as it looked and tasted, too. Such pretty photos!
Very pretty! But I agree the flowering variety is not as economical. :)
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to drink a really beautiful tea like this in a spectacular tea pot. You captured it perfectly!

ReplyDeleteSuch a fancy tea!
ReplyDeleteCatching up with all the T entries.
